EAHS AFRICA – NAIROBI 2023 Testimonials

“The setup, great, the panelists, world-class. We’ve had very nice one-on-one meetings… we are certainly looking forward to next year’s conference. ”

Mr. Joseph Oguta – DP World, Head of Berbera Economic Zone – Bronze Exhibitor Sponsor

I especially liked the discussion on partnerships and how we can collaborate better with the private sector to work on more innovative solutions to tackle disasters and emergencies.

Ms. Yvonne Achieng Arunga – Save the Children International, Country Director – Kenya & Madagascar

We have been participating at EAHS for the last 10 years. We’re very happy to be here, we had a great crowd this year, a very busy booth, and we look forward to next year.

Mr. Mohammed Cherchali – NRS Relief, Business Development Manager

This is our second time at EAHS Nairobi. It’s always a really great event to attend, the one-to-one sessions are particularly useful.

Mr. Ben Dinsdale – Air Charter Service, Global Director for Humanitarian and Government Services

I am with Grant Thornton who is (one of) the main sponsors of (EAHS Nairobi 2023). The event has been great… the turnout has been great, we didn’t expect such a good turnout. It’s a great setup whereby the public/humanitarian sector and the private sector are able to interact and learn about innovation. The one-to-one sessions were great, they will bring about partnerships between the private sector and the humanitarian sector.

Ms. Jane Wanjira – Grant Thornton, Director Audits – Gold Lanyard Sponsor

This is my first time at EAHS and I have to tell everybody, it was brilliant. For those of you who haven’t attended before, I highly recommend it. The conference is fantastic, from the setup to the ability to have one-on-one (meetings) with the various humanitarian agencies, fantastic. It is truly one of the best conferences I’ve attended in the 30 years that I’ve been here in Africa.

Mr. Guy Richards – Tribus-TSG, Business Development – Bronze Exhibitor Sponsor

It has been an excellent 2 days of meetings (one-to-one sessions), incredibly informative panel discussions, very good speeches, and it has been especially good that every afternoon, for the last two days, we’ve had the chance to sit down and have one-to-one meetings with the private sector which has been a true eye-opener. This has been excellent and we are very grateful to have been here.

Ms. Elise Nalbandian – Oxfam International
