It has been a privilege to attend this important East African Humanitarian Summit. This humanitarian summit is very informative, with the panels which are very high in terms of knowledge and in terms of participants. A good opportunity …to interact with those private and public and even organizations…I want to thank the organizers. The summit was very successful. I would hope as South Sudan government to participate in this kind of summit in the long run.

This is my first time at EAHS and I have to tell everybody, it was brilliant. For those of you who haven’t attended before, I highly recommend it. The conference is fantastic, from the setup to the ability to have one-on-one (meetings) with the various humanitarian agencies, fantastic. It is truly one of the best conferences I’ve attended in the 30 years that I’ve been here in Africa.

EAHS NAIROBI 2024

…This conference has made good strides in closing that gap and improving the collaboration between the private and public sector. There’s very senior and important decision makers in varying organizations and I think it’s been great. There’s been so much dedicated to general networking…having these conversations in a more casual setting is so key, so I think that’s been a great aspect of the conference.

MR. TOM BASSETT

I’d like to thank EAHS for an exceptionally well-run conference. extremely beneficial reconnecting distribution partners, reconnecting with NGO partners, meeting new partnerships and forming strategic partnerships going into the future. I’d like to thank also the EAHS team for organizing such wonderful roundtable and conference speakers. Myself, as a primary supplier of product into the NGO and private public partnership space, we found it extremely beneficial connecting with all relevant stakeholders to this wonderful conference.

EAHS NAIROBI 2024

I’ve been here for the past two days. Both days have been engaging and exciting. Many partners are here to showcase their products.

We’ve had very engaging panel discussions on communications, on partnership, on humanitarian response. This is a forum that I would want to or my organization would want to continue to engage with. I think kudos to the organizers and those that participated.

MS. FATIMA MOHAMMED-COLE
DEPUTY REGIONAL DIRECTOR, UNHCR EHAGL BUREAU
EAHS NAIROBI 2024

The gathering, the participants, meeting all those participants was really wonderful. Lot of companies, vendors who were present here, they were very much interested to do business with the United Nations system, and it was great opportunity to…do more business with the United Nations system…a win-win situation because that brings more effectiveness in procurement. Panelists were well-chosen, they were well-educated, knowledgeable and their contribution and active comments and participation in the discussion was providing a good insight on the particular topic. There were huge number present here. It was a very big successful summit, I can say. I really thank to the organizers, especially to Mr. Cameron who has managed to organize this summit here and who has successfully able to invite all these people across the world.

MR. RAM TRIVEDI
CHIEF OF PROCUREMENT, UN MINUSCA
EAHS NAIROBI 2024

It is a great pleasure and honor to be part of this EAHS Summit. It’s a great initiative and great platform…I have (had) a very positive outcome. Lots of new contacts and lots of new opportunities. It’s not only humanitarian sector but it’s also… suppliers who assist (us) for swift and fast delivery to procure items at better than market price. I would encourage every organization to be part of the conference in the coming years. Thank you very much and I appreciate the organizers and all the participants. I haven’t heard such conferences in Africa where such vast numbers of UN different family bodies are present under one roof and are speaking basically. So, it’s a great opportunity. Thank you very much.
